REO Speedwagon rolls into Savannah for a rare concert appearance .
Soaring from its roots in small town America, the legendary rock band has toured
every year since its inception to perform for fans who enthusiastically sing along to
number one hits “Can’t Fight This Feeling” and “Keep On Loving You,”
as well as classics like “Roll With the Changes,” “Keep Pushin’,” “Time for Me to Fly,”
“Riding the Storm Out,” “I Needed To Fall” “Smilin’ In The End” and “Take It On the Run.”
Local favorite Edwin McCain has been announced as the opening act for the REO Speedwagon.
The singer-songwriter responsible for such huge hits as “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask For More”
will be performing songs from his multi-million selling albums and selections from his new recording
of vintage soul and R&B tunes called Nobody’s Fault But Mine.
Even now, the band stays relevant with new songs and fresh recording projects like their
2007 CD Find Your Own Way Home and its accompanying online video game.
This past holiday season they released a Christmas album called
Not So Silent Night … Christmas with REO Speedwagon.
